That’s how my latest roadtrip to Meghalaya looked like 🚙😍🫶🌧️🎵💫

Spent a beautiful weekend in Meghalaya with my sister and her family. The clouds, rain, made it all so dreamy and made the whole trip feel absolutely perfect 😍🌧️

When I checked that Khajjiar is only 25Kms away from Dalhousie, I asked our driver bhaiyya if we could visit for a few hours. He said offcourse he can take us there. We spent around an hour in Kalatope Wildlife Sanctuary and from there it was a drive for an hour and we reached Khajjiar situated in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Nestled in the scenic hills of Himachal Pradesh, Khajjiar is often called the “Mini Switzerland of India” for its breathtaking landscapes. It is surrounded by dense deodar forests, snow-capped mountains, and a lush green meadow with a small lake at its center, Khajjiar offers a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. It’s a beautiful place where tourists can enjoy horse riding, zorbing, nature walks, or simply soak in the fresh mountain air, this charming destination is a must-visit for travelers exploring the beauty of Himachal.

What I wore to school today for Rabindra Jayanti function 🌼🌼 The colour selected for the day was yellow and after digging through my wardrobe found this saree that I purchased in Puri, Odisha in the year 2019 and was lying in the wardrobe since so long. Paired it with a Khun blouse and handmade jewellery by @rangeen_palette_jewellery

Growing up watching the endless tea gardens of Dibrugarh every time I stepped out of home it is something that I relate to so deeply. When I saw the lush green tea gardens of Dharamshala I was full of nostalgia— here the green tea bushes meets the mighty mountains, and every breeze carries a hint of the Himalayas and the freshness of air all so captivating and refreshing!! The tea landscape was different but , felt like a beautiful blend of home and wanderlust♥️

Khajjiar, such a breathtakingly beautiful spot in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh.

Situated in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, 12 Kms away from Dalhousie is the Kalantope Wildlife Sanctuary, a one of the kind nature reserve with the beauty of dense Deodar and Pine trees , scenic trekking trails and the spectacular view of the mountains. We booked a car from the main gate for Rs1500 and we visited till the main point. On way we got down from the car and also did some walking along the dense forest with patches of meadows here and there. It was absolutely magical.

What a beautiful experience it was visiting The Golden Temple in Amritsar also called as Harmandir Sahib. I wanted to visit this holy place in Punjab since such a long time but until the right time arrives nothing can be done. Well, some things happen unexpectedly and it’s God’s way of loving you, isn’t it!!! 🙏🙏🙏🌸🌸
